Afternoon tea anyone?

Today, I took my quilt group out to a beautiful old Dutch farm for an Afternoon Tea. We all had a really fun afternoon together. Here is a slideshow of a few of the happy moments from this afternoon...

Oh Heidi.....see the building just brought back so many fond memories of my four years spent living there! Looks like you and the gals had a lovely afternoon.

Wat is het toch een gezellig plekje he? Leuk dat je er met je groep geweest bent. Nog leuke dingen gekocht in het winkeltje? En hoe beviel het in CC afgelopen weekend?

Heidi the tea room looks lovely I'm so glad you had a good time! Harry is a sweetheart & loves to help I call him helpful Harry lol!! The cakes we made are very simple just some Rice Krispies mixed with melted chocolate & decorated with a couple of Cadbury's mini eggs. The kids love them & the grown ups too. Glad you like my decoration. Marie x

I wish I could have been there with you. What a lovely place! I thoroughly enjoy the Tuesday evenings when our stitching group gets together. Sometimes I have to stay up late just to wind down and my stomach ache goes away...not from the pots of tea or the fantastic treats that we all share...but from the laughter and camaraderie.

Thanks for sharing your good times.

Hi Heidi, What a happy lucky group of ladies, I am sure I recognised a couple of them. Your tea looked delicious and the table must have looked a real treat with fresh flowers strewn around. Hope you are feeling a lot better and I love the fabric eggs in your last post.
Warm hugs, Hazel (UK)
