Cherries pinkeep

Last night, I decided that adding more Halloween pincushions would not be needed. The five I have sewn look complete. I am going to start working on autumn pincushions now today. I decided to finish off my latest pinkeep instead yesterday evening and here in the results. This is once again a Little House Needlework's thread pack ~ Cherries.

The colors of this overdyed thread is very subtle and I found just the right backing fabric for it. My trim is cranberry and beige ribbon which has been twisted as I attached it with cranberry glass head pins.

I am using the seagrass bowl now for the LHN thread pack pinkeeps as I now have the tray for all of my other pinkeeps. It will be fun to have them together in this bowl when I complete all 12 designs.

I just love the way you did the ribbon around the edge of this! Gorgeous as usual! Not that we expect anything less from the stitching queen! :) I can't wait to see the next!

Hi:
This one is sooo cute. Reminds me of 4 and 20 blackbirds baked in a pie. Hard to pick which is the cutest, but i think this one wins so far. Kristy is right, we expect no less than perfect. haha.
love you, Mom

This is to Angela:
I told Heidi your poem is so cute on the pumkin entry, that i think you deserved a pin cushion just for that.

Heidi,
Your pinkeep is really pretty. I love the clean lines of these designs. What you see is what you get with them - bright, cheerful designs with great colours. I love the twisted ribbon you've edged it with, It finishes it off beautifully. Your collection is really eyecatching in the seagrass bowl.
Oh, by the way...I hope you are a very dutiful daughter Heidi and always do what your mother tells you.haha!
Hugs, Angela

Heidi, this is promising to be the most beautiful collection of pinkeeps.
I love the basket and your latest finish is gorgeous with the pretty twisted ribbon trim.
Are you sure there isn't more than one elf at your house? You seem to get so much done that I think there are a team of elves working for you. Either that or you just don't sleep!

Heidi I have been enjoying reading about your pincushion project. They are all so cute and really clever. I love these cross stitched ones and the way you finish them is lovely. I need to try one of those sometime. i haven't cross stitched in sometime and it could be a great winter project.

Hugs - Karen
