This past weekend we took a couple of walks in the woods by our cottage. This is such a beautiful time of year for Mother Nature. I took my friend Diane (FTLOS list) with me in spirit and photographed some perfect acorns I found on the path for her. I know you share my love of these tiny seeds of nature Diane. They are a beauty unto themselves but they also grow into a mighty oak which is amazing. Have a happy fall!

Beautiful piece of nature, there, Heidi! The acorns around here are already picked over by the squirrels - rarely do you find one in the whole. Thanks for the pic!

Thank you for remembering me on your walk! I DO love acorns, and all things fall. Our trees are JUST beginning to turn. I see reds, so am excited! I even picked up an acorn squash for dinner!
