We are home this weekend since Jos is painting the trim in the living room. It gives me a long weekend to work on some gifts I need to finish off. I will share photos of these items when they are received. In the meantime, I wanted to share a fun free online paperpiecing pattern. I used this for a project for my quilt group a number of years ago. It is a pattern by Christine Thresh and can be found here. It is a simple little quirky quilt to make for Easter.
This come out the size of a placemat. I use it with some of my decorations on my dining room table. Things like this are fun to play with quilting. As you can see, I quilted tiny chicken feet all around the border. Or maybe that naughty little chick did it when I wasn't looking?
Wishing you all a Happy Easter!

Happy Easter - Karen
Happy Easter, Heidi! Thank you for posting where to find the sweet pattern - that may be something for next Easter's table. I have just boiled the eggs for tomorrow's festivities, set the table and only have a few more things to do before heading to bed! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
I was right! I guess on your other blog that this was an egg quilt. I love it! I'm going to look at the pattern, and who knows? I may make one for next year.
What a pretty little pattern, I'd rather like to try it out. Hope you have had a lovley Easter day.
That is a very cute quilt. Hope you are having a little bit of fun too, not only painting. Does Jos get a break tomorrow?
Love you Mom
