I am a 40-something housewife that loves to make my home a cheerful place for my husband and myself. I love working each day on my handwork and inspiring others to unlock their creative muses.
I have a blog where I write about my handwork and one in which I write about the changing seasons and things around my home and garden. Please stop by and visit me. While there, don't forget to leave a comment. I love hearing from you!
I want to thank everyone who has honored me with an award or tag. I have decided to make my blog an award free zone as I find it difficult to pick and choose myself among the blogs I love. I think every blog is great in its own way.
That is what our forecast is for the long Christmas weekend. So I am packing to leave for Cranberry Cottage and my brother knitted me this hat and scarf which must go along for our walks in the woods! I wanted to stop in before we leave to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Thank you all for reading my blog and leaving such wonderful comments. I appreciate each and every comment I receive. I love the friendships that have grown through blogging.
Bill will be happy that you are taking the hat and scarf. I hope it keeps you nice and warm. Tell Jos to take your picture in it. Since I am talking to you, I know you are busy doing laundry and packing to get going. Have a safe drive and lots of happy stitching. Love you both, Mom
Heidi, Your scarf and hat look perfect. I hope you enjoy wearing them on some pretty long walks - not pretty long but, pretty, long...haha! Have a wonderful Christmas heidi and love to Jos. Hugs, Angela
I absolutely adore your sewing tree. It reminds me so much of the book: Antique Needlework tools and embroideries, which always makes me want to start collecting. Thank you for adding beauty into my online life with your blog and for giving me so much inspiration.
